Creative Printmaking

In this workshop, we will make our own linocut  prints – a relief printing method that produces unique results with simple tools. Immerse yourself in a creative studio atmosphere and create small works of art that are perfect as greeting cards or decorative prints.

What to Expect?

From transferring your sketch to the printing plate to the final print on high-quality paper – we will go through the whole step-by-step of printmaking. First, you will design your motif on a linoleum plate. Under professional guidance, you will carve your linoleum plate using special tools. Then, it's time to print: using an artist-powered printing press, we will transfer your artwork onto paper and print up to 10 A5 prints. Play with a variety of papers, colours and gradients for unique results. By the end of the workshop, everyone will take home their very own, one-of-a-kind linocut prints!

Who is the Workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for anyone (age 14 and up) who wants to bring their creative ideas into printmaking – whether you're a beginner or have some experience!
